- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I've been in few - if any - dentist's offices where I felt as welcome, comfortable, appreciated, and genuinely cared about. I caught myself a number of times being amazed at how friendly and accommodating the staff was - and consistently. I've had trouble being in the dentist's chair in the past. I've had non-specific anxiety attacks that stem from trauma experienced in NYC on 9-11 & the subsequent PTSD. I hate being that way, but I have little control over it. When I first came to this office and sat in the chair, I was monitoring myself, half-expecting anxiety or even panic to set in - the old fight-flight thing. But nothing happened. For the first time in a very long time, I was absolutely relaxed in a dentist's chair... calm and relaxed. I would've smiled if the dentist hadn't been poking around in my mouth (lol). I was amazed... relieved... and thankful. The great atmosphere, friendly & professional staff, great chairside manner, and smiling faces all around - it all contributes to your confidence and relaxed state of mind during your visit to this office.
